Robert Horton Ward 1
My name is Bob Horton and I am again running to be your Ward 1 representative on the Brentwood Forest Board of Managers. Upon graduating from the University of Missouri with a degree in Finance, I took a job in the CIBC building and moved into Brentwood Forest. I was first drawn to Brentwood Forest because my office overlooks the grounds and I have always been impressed by the pristine condition in which the grounds are kept. Since moving into Brentwood Forest, I have truly enjoyed and benefited from this tremendous community. I am seeking re-election to continue making Brentwood Forest an appealing place to live for years to come. I appreciate your vote. Thank you, Bob
Bryan Fay Ward 2
I was born and raised in St. Louis and I graduated from Mizzou with a degree in Electrical Engineering. I purchased my condo in Brentwood Forest in May 2017. I have known about Brentwood Forest for a while as my dad lived here from the early 80’s to the 90’s. He and my mom got married in the Brentwood Forest clubhouse in October 1990. I enjoy living here and am looking forward to running for a second term here in BF. I hope to continue to bring a new perspective and ideas to the board meetings and continue to make Brentwood Forest a desirable place to live. MIZ! LGB!
Yousef Ahmed Ward 3
I would like to be part of the solutions for Brentwood Forest.

I am a current board member running for re-election. I have lived in Brentwood Forest for three years and this is a wonderful place to live. I currently work for AIG as the Business Development Director for St. Louis. I have experience in operations, finance, management, sales and marketing. In addition to my experience in the insurance industry I also serve on Operation Food Search Junior Board as the Vice President, this will be my sixth year with the organization. I would like to continue to be on the board to serve my community. Utilizing my professional skills, I would like to lead the board in designing & implementing a future strategy that ensures this will be an amazing community for years to come.
VOTING SHOULD OPEN THE WEEK OF MAY 10 AND WILL END ON JUNE 15 AT THE ANNUAL MEETING
Anthony Houska Ward 3
I lived in Brentwood Forest for 5 years and have owned in there for 7. I am a former Board member and believed me made many changes for the better including changing the pool rules, lowering insurance costs, and compiling the surplus into one firm. When I was on the Board there were no increases in HOA fees and would like to get back to that. Raising condo fee’s in a pandemic didn’t sit well with me and I want to get back on the Board and make changes to benefit everyone in the Association.
Jeff Forrler Ward 4
I am a current Board member seeking re-election. I have owned and lived in Brentwood Forest for 20 years and worked in a commercial construction management environment for 23 years. I believe transparency and fiduciary duty are the two most important characteristics that make up the Board of Managers. I enjoy meeting and listening to residents and contributing to the community. I would appreciate your vote that I may continue representing Ward 4 as well as all of Brentwood Forest.
Wilma E. Gazaway Ward 5
Having lived on Cardinal Terrace for awhile, I realized how I liked the area. After traveling for work as a Surgical Services Consultant, I moved to Lake St. Louis, and rented the condo. I am now retired and am considering moving back to Brentwood Forest if I can find a condo that fits my desire. I have years of experience in managing multi-million dollar budgets, strategic planning, and customer service, also served on the Board of Volunteers in Medicine. I would feel privileged to utilize my experience on the Brentwood Forest Board.
Yvonne Homeyer Ward 5
I have been a unit owner and resident of Brentwood Forest for 25 years. I am an attorney, practicing estate planning and family law mediation in my own firm in Clayton. When I served on the Board of Managers previously, I was Chair of the Finance Committee. My community service experience includes a term on the Brentwood Planning & Zoning Commission. A former educator, I have been a volunteer reading tutor for the YMCA and have also served on the boards of various St. Louis area non-profit organizations. As a Board member, I would advocate for sound financial management, transparency in the Association’s affairs, and maintaining our community’s reputation as a desirable place to live.
Leslie Johnson Ward 5
I am a current Board Member, Chair of the Technology Committee, and a member of the Finance Committee. This year, my work on the board is focused on implementing technology improvements, which will increase the efficiency of the office and provide a better owner experience.
I am a real estate investor and updated my first Brentwood Forest condo in 2014. Since then, I have renovated over 100 BF condos and have resold nearly all to owner-occupants.
I am interested in serving on the Board because I’m passionate about bringing additional technology improvements to Brentwood Forest. I believe I bring value with my experience in improving real estate prices and my background in strategy consulting. I hope to have your support
in shaping our future as a Ward 5 representative.

The Board’s primary role is to plan strategically, set long term goals and objectives, provide governance over association operations and finances, manage risk, and ensure the association’s longevity. The Board’s primary responsibility is fiduciary to you as a owners of Brentwood Forest units. This means that Board Members must act with the Duty of Care (Board Members must make informed decisions), the Duty of Loyalty (act in the best interest of the association regardless of personal or professional relationships with unit owners, potential vendors, or renters), and within the Duty of Authority (act within the authority of Missouri HOA law, the association’s governing documents, and Board-directed authority).
The Board meets, at minimum, monthly in open session (currently via Zoom). Throughout the month there are various committees that work on Board-directed initiatives. Committees include Finance, Buildings and Grounds, Technology, Communication Strategy, Elections, Human Resources, Recreation, or any other committee that the Board deems necessary. All of this work is done to serve the Brentwood Forest Community.
Your Ward Representative is your voice on the Board. MAKE SURE YOU VOTE! Watch for your voter packet in the mail.
